Bunny Blown Onto Roof In Storm Rescued By Heroic Firefighters

While everyone knows the old trope about cats get stuck in trees, it’s not as often that you ear about a rabbit stuck on a roof.

But firefighters in Northern Ireland dealt with just such a case on Friday, when gales from Storm Gertrude hurled Bumper the bunny’s hutch into the air, the Belfast Telegraph reports .

“The wind caught the hutch and sent it flying into the air and it has propelled the rabbit out of the hutch and onto the roof, ” Omagh Fire Station district commander David Doherty told BT.com .
