After you build a foundation with someone and expend a good quantity of day getting to know each other, you realize that your everyday life can be just as romantic as that concert you flew to when started discover each other. You simply have to induce the most of it. ‘Our Super Adventure’ is a comic diary by Sarah Graley that revolves around her long-term relationship, and the series perfectly proves that a couple need only each other to feel happy. And four cats.
“I grew up with cats, so when me and Stef started renting a house together, it didn’t take long for us to come to the decision that we’d love to get cats of our own, ” Sarah added. “We get Pesto and Toby in October 2013, and they were sisters from the same litter. A year or so later, Pesto got pregnant and had a litter of four – we kept Wilson and Pixel.” The rest went to their relatives.
Sarah started ‘Our Super Adventure’ as style of documenting little moments in her and Stef’s relationship and they actually resonated with people. “We talk to loadings of people at comic proves and online who tell us that they do the silly stuff we do in the comics as well and that’s really sweet! I think there are a lot of playful nerdy relationships in the world and it’s nice to know there’s a bunch of people out there in relationships with their best pal who have a friendly sense of humour in their companionship.”
Also, the first ‘Our Super Adventure’ volume is being re-released by Oni Press in March 2019. Titled “ Our Super Adventure: Press Start To Begin “, it is coming out just as the second largest ‘Our Super Adventure’ collecting, “ Video Games and Pizza Party , ” was funded on Kickstarter for a special first edition!
